About yourself: I'm a crazy knitter by day and a massage therapist by night. Well, by afternoons/evenings. I enjoy RP, both freeform RP like here, and actual Tabletop RPGs, like with dice and stuff. But strangely enough not D&D. I mean I know of it and have played like, two sessions, but mostly White Wolf/Onyx Path games. My character, Rachel, is actually my character from a Masks RPG, though altered a bit to make her fit better in the world. I love talking about RPGs, knitting, Seanan McGuire books, theatre, and Pokemon.

About: She was a perfectly normal girl until she got stung by a radioactive wasp and gained superpowers. She did some (somewhat successful) superhero-ing up in the Northwest Territories before she and her team mates actually took down a major super villain and she got promoted. Except instead of moving to Japan as she expected, she's now back in school. At least it's magic school this time?
CR Goals: Make friends. Sternly reprimand naughty people. Learn magic, but probably mostly just cause collateral damage.
Notes: Her team were based in what had been the lair of a super villain called Dr Vacation. So she's really gotten to love hammocks and virgin pina coladas.

Your character seems terrifying, but I am looking to get to know and RP with you. I am also someone who plays in multiple formats, including tabletop and LARP. So it is always fun to meet other cross-type rpers!

I play this villian, V who is neutral, and Xion who is good but does not believe in her own goodness yet.

Rachel's not terrifying, she's friendly and means exceedingly well. And she's caused way less collateral damage than her teammates ever did.

I've never got into LARPing - back when I could actually play face to face, it wasn't what my friends were into and now I don't have the schedule that really allows for it. Which is kinda sad, there's a Dystopia Rising LARP near me that looks really fun.

Actually she terrifies me because of a phobia about certain stinging insects, so a me issue not a her issue.

I mostly LARP at anime cons, so a one weekend short plot only, nothing continuous. It is a lot of fun, though.

Hey, Amy, I'm Frankie - I play the Rapunzel from the TDM, and threading with Rachel was really fun! I'm so glad you've decided to bring her to Diatu, and I look forward to threading with you.

My character who I actually currently play at Diatu, though, is Louie Duck. He's from the reboot of DuckTales. I'm looking over the personality section on Rachel's app and I got to:

...These two are going to get along just fine. They're also housemates!

Sternly reprimanding naughty people definitely sounds like a job for my super srs knight Hendrik. He definitely plays by the rules, so I look forward to seeing your girl in game and tossing him at her.

Ooo, that'll be fun! Rachel wants to play by the rules, but when push comes to shove she tends to go for what will get stuff done over being strict about rules.

Oooooo, WoD. <3 Hallo fellow tabletopper! I cut my teeth on GURPS and Fudge instead of D&D like most gamers, so I'm right there with you. My WoD gal was a magician's assistant who had the power to move through shadows like they were Acme portable holes. XD

Rachel sounds really neat, and I'm sure Dewey's going to love hearing stories about Dr. Vacation's lair and all of her other exploits.

Ooo neat! I have a long-running OC who's based on Changeling the Lost but she's a bit more serious than Diatu seems good for.

She has a lot of fun stories. Like the time she accidentally infested her school with wasps!
