May Activity Check

Welcome to the April activity check for Diatu Magicademy! A reminder of our rules:

You must provide one log thread with at least 5 comments from your character.

You must provide either an additional log thread with at least 5 comments from your character, or a network thread with at least 10 comments from your character.

If you have some activity during the month, but not enough to pass AC, you may request a strike. To clear the strike, you must provide double activity the subsequent month.

Activity is valid for posts made between the close of applications in May and the close of applications in June -- so this month, any activity made between Wednesday, May 1, and 8 PM Eastern time, Wednesday, June 5th.

Activity must be submitted by Saturday, June 8th at 8 PM Eastern time.

Also, as a reminder, the results of your Actions will be posted as a response to your activity check. If you haven't chosen any, you have until AC closes to do so.

I am exempt from AC this month due to 2 weeks+ of hiatus, but I'm wondering if I'll still get results from last month's chosen activities?

Also, I did participate in two threads at least for Research last month, they were just cut quite short due to hiatus, so I understand if that doesn't qualify Louie for... Whatever happens this month as a result of participation.

An Answer. As a question of the research team, and they will give you the best answer they as a collective can provide.

Louie will ask the researchers what would happen to a Sundered who is dead or otherwise nonexistent if the researchers find a way back to send everyone home.

The researchers consider this question for a moment, talk among themselves, and then deliver their answer:

They won't send anyone back without a guarantee that they'll arrive alive and well on the other side. That would be tantamount to murder, and none of them can (or will openly) support that. Also, they won't ask anyone to go back who doesn't WANT to, provided that is safe for everyone concerned. It's hard to give more details than that till they understand what is going on and how this is being caused and must be fixed, but that's how they plan to go forward.
