September Game Announcements A Word From Your Mod Team Hello, everyone! We'd like to warn you that Labor Day Weekend is a hectic and uncanny time for us, and as such processing AC and adventures may be delayed until Monday or at the very worst, Wednesday. We'll do all we can to turn things around before that, but if we're running a bit slow, we apologize and will definitely get back to you by then! This Month In Diatu Fall into Autumn! The Magicademy campus is an absurd place, with leaves that change not just color, but shapes and even sizes. Some trees launch seeds across the campus in paper-airplane-shaped leaves, while others aggressively attempt to weed out smaller competitors for their resources by dropping leaves the size of credenzas on anything nearby. A few trees burst into flame, which is apparently a totally normal thing for them. A small forest is vigorously attempting to relocate itself to the middle of campus, and an ongoing fight between it and the groundskeeping golems keeps escalating uncomfortably. Visiting Students and Faculty from other Magicademies have stopped by, the better to examine the work in Sundering that Diatu has accomplished, and offer what help they can in identifying the sudden surge that results in more Sundered popping up. Their strange appreciation for foreign customs like actual fancy robes and regimented politeness make them weird and strange, and the faculty barely conceal the fact that they believe their greatest contribution in coming her is keeping Headmaster Birony from wedging a dragon's head into a Sundering portal just to see what happens. You all are going to be nice to them, right? Right??? Dueling Standards are out the window as a weird group of students have proposed that disputes between wizards should be solved with children's card games instead of a proper wizards' duel. The Dueling Club promptly challenged them all to a duel. Unfortunately, a couple of duelists on each side also were bala-inlota players, and their voices carried a slightly disproportionate weight when no one could agree on just how they were dueling. Now the campus is plagued by duels in which wizards simultaneously cast spells at each other while also playing Three Dragon War. At this point, maybe just stop going outside. This Month In Anastara Fall Cleaning is a massive enterprise in Anastara, featuring as it does the canals being diverted into the streets to wash through the gutters and drains and scour out the filth that built up during the busy summer months. Take your waders, because any street you think to go down might be a river this month! Ire Factionalism has spread to the town as a whole, and the reason why now becomes apparent: capitalism has once again done no good for anyone, as various clothiers and haberdashers try to cash in by sparking this division through the use of hats, shirts, socks, flags, and doilies. Tribalism pays, we guess. Adventures As detailed on our Adventures page, you may sign up for an adventure by responding to the appropriate comment on this post. As a reminder, you aren't confined to the suggestions on that page; you may give us a word or brief phrase, a general request, or even request something out of the events in the city. When posting, also let us know if you would like High, Medium, or Low mod involvement. We will respond with your adventure setups in a few days. You may undertake a new adventure this month even if you are still in an adventure from previous months.

Admittedly, a prophecy that you got in your breakfast cereal may not be the most reliable guide, but the fortune cookie you open immediately afterward offers more: a promise of a great reward, should you have the audacity to take this challenge. And then the packet of beef jerky contains an ancient heiroglyph that translates to "DESSICANT: DO NOT EAT."

That one probably isn't relevant to the first two, and why is your breakfast so terrible?

Noa's been here offscreen during the downtime of the game, so some things are less a surprise than others. When it comes to Fall Cleaning in particular, he may well even just set up a small paddle boat! See yah suckers, he's heading to class.

Obviously with everything going on, he'd Love to stay inside...but he can't. For one thing, being nice to visiting students is a Must, and he's going to be doing his best.

For another...this...Dueling nonsense... What's going on with that!!

In any case come plot with Noa! I'm not signing him on for any adventures since I'm taking it easy this month, but yeah.
