This Month In Diatu
Hail becomes a concern around this time, thanks to some peculiarity of air currents and ocean evaporation up here on the floating island. Luckily, hailstorms are brief when they appear, but inevitably sudden and fierce for their short lives. Woe be unto the student who fails to protect themselves with a suitable shield when they spend any time out of doors!
Professor Ire has been the victim of mean-spirited but harmless pranks that truly represent just how harmless he is, considering the capabilities he surely has to address such pranking. In fact, the student body seems to be very slowly coalescing into pro-Ire and anti-Ire factions.
Bala-inlota Tryouts begin once classes are in swing. You may or may not be entered into them voluntarily; Captain Lominia is not exactly known for respecting consent when it comes to her student teams. Older students might trade or sell you the location of good places to hide from her.
This Month In Anastara
A Sphinx In Training has set up shop down by the docks, laying out on a large comfortable rug and challenging passers-by to riddle contests. None of the riddles are terribly original; the Sphinx explains she is more interested in studying the body language of her victims than in defeating them. She also promises she won't eat you if you get the riddles wrong, and thus far, no one has appeared to claim she has eaten them. On the other hand, she occasionally veers out of the acceptable sorts of riddles to launch scavenger hunts and quirky challenges, in order to see just what people will do under the guise of a riddle contest.

I've given a lot of thought about how I'd run this adventure, and I think Low suits best! As El just runs around coordinating stuff until the culminating event?
Better go with low and just let the thread go as I couldn't get anyone interested in doing a thing with it. I'll just consider it a learning experience.
You've been wonderful Mods. I have a log up for it, which may end with a few samples of Baby's Breath being brought to the sphinx to complete the quest. (One's been made via Discovery and is being held in a bottle, as that's the thread with Crowley, and one might be getting bought/found with aid from Hendrik and Celestia.)

Since life destroyed me last month, never got to post the adventures. Should I just do them for this month instead of taking new adventures? Or should I backdate these and also sign up for new ones...? Or something else?
Mal's adventure is up. Unless you have modly things to negate it, the plan is that El is going to back her off. She's going to fly away and look for a place to transform back, which is where Kaiba will find her. We haven't planned the end for that thread yet, and there might be another after it before she transforms back.
We are planning a follow up thread/top level later for Sylvando, El, and Mal where Sylvando unaware that they'd had an encounter introduces them to each other, then mentions the rumors he heard about a dragon. Since we are using the rumor mill, wanted to especially point that out in case you want to run with it at all. Since the prompt says they're drunk when the assaulted her, we figured the rumors will start wild and only get worse. Ideally none of the rumors are about her turning into a dragon... everything from she summoned one to forgetting there was a student in the first place, but I can roll with most things.
