The singing did catch her attention, though she wasn't sure where it came from. The streak of color flashed in the corner of her eye and she tensed up, her feet coming up to prepare her to hop up and get the fuck out if needed.

When a girl about her age landed on the roof and introduced herself Val relaxed.

"Val."

She kicked her feet back out and let her heels bounce against the building as she relaxed and peered down to watch the people below walk around.

"Just wanted to get away from it 'n try'n figure out what I think 'bout all this. Still dunno where I'm at with this clusterfuck."
