The second the water makes contact, Luca changes. Skin becomes scales, brown eyes become red and slit, his teeth become more pointed, and he grows a long and powerful finned tail that would allow him to propel quickly through the water. He's not any bigger, and aside from notable differences like a lack of a nose and a few added fins he looks pretty similar to his human self.
