She knows that she's trying to be nice, but Sakura just can't accept it when it's in her direction. Though she would do the same and more for anyone she saw in trouble, she knows herself that she isn't worth the hassle. After all, anything she tries will inevitably turn on her, and she knows how stubborn and difficult she can be when others try to convince her otherwise. She knows that. She remembers each member of her group coming to her room to try to comfort her while she tore them to pieces. She remembers how awful she was and how they still smiled and supported her nonetheless.

Is she really going to do that again? This latest disappointment is crushing; it feels worse than it ever has, but she can still see them smiling at her. She can still feel them supporting her, and she can still hear them telling her to keep trying. It's so hard. It's so hard, but she absolutely can't take it out on someone else again. It takes her some moments to reconcile this, but she's going to try to get herself back on track.

"I'm... not sure about that. But I'm sorry," she apologizes, quickly and somewhat embarrassed. "I know it's not your fault, and you're just trying your hardest. I admire that, really... I want to try, too...! But it might just take me some time."
