Sunset had spent most of the journey thus far coming to terms with her fate. It hurt to be so far from home and from her friends...but hadn't learning magic been her goal the entire time? Sure, she'd become corrupted by her desire and had to start again from the bottom, but she'd restored her faith in herself by now. This was something she could do.

And the first step was reaching out with kindness. Someone caught her eye as she walked. Was he feeling out of place? She approached cautiously, a gentle smile on her face.
