As if the heavy downpour wasn't enough— a picture perfect melancholy scene to welcome her to her newest new life of misery and bad luck. Then, there's the magical mishap that causes it to change to a freezing snow, and she watches everyone screech and scramble and panic, but not her. It's cold and it's uncomfortable, but it isn't unexpected. She continues her slow, steady walk towards the building, ice building up in her hair and on her clothes and on her skin, but none of it really matters.
She follows a parade of students inside, but she has no goal in mind for herself. She's simply awaiting further instructions. That's when she hears this boy's grumbling, and she looks over. He's really upset.
