In the middle of attempting to wing a ceremony out in the battlefield, the grip of Foresight seizes Sho, and he is able to perform the spell flawlessly despite its difficulty -- thus avoiding all potential perils such as "be devoured by a demon", "splinched", or "that damn Elephant Noise".

That is about the best outcome possible for the "actively attempt to enslave the dead" side of this scenario.

Upon completion of the spell, a great ghostly-white mass rises from the ground, engulfing Sho and all around him with a freezing and unearthly cold. A moment later it is gone.

But it will be back.
