There was a reason why Isabel hadn't gotten up yet. She figured any attempt was a lost cause. Even if she had a belt to gather up all the extra material, it'd still be hopeless to try to get anywhere.

"Yeah, that doesn't mean it's going to be easy to get out of this predicament...I don't really know anyone here, and, well, I tried introducing myself to this fox guy I just met, and..." Isabel shrugged at that, but she gave him a wink, hopefully to take the sting out. Maybe he was just poorly socialized--some of her smallest siblings were like that.

"I don't know, this wasn't the way I thought I'd start a friendship, but I already sort of put you out once, can it really get any more embarrassing than it already is?"
