+1 Spinoff Baby
Dec. 8th, 2019 06:31 pmY'ello my name is Samu and it's cool, I'm a friend of Doom's, I plork at https://www.plurk.com/SamuraiMarmoset (I don't know how to do the direct link thing) and I joined up playing Sophie, one of the second-gen characters from the 3DS video game Fire Emblem Fates' Conquest route. She's CRAU-adjacent in that while I've never played her before, I did play her mother Corrin in Melodies of Eternity and I will be playing Sophie with those events as canon, so she has something approaching a vaguely working knowledge of what her mom was up to on Vaikuntha, and I'm sure Tyzias (who Sophie has met a few times and knows is a friend of her mom's) is just oh so happy to hear that. Just wait until she asks about that time Tyzias got into it with the horny guy.
Sophie's an accident prone but perennially-cheerful knight in training who thanks to her heritage can usually (but not here right now at least) turn into a dragon. But she is out here doing her best trying to live up to her parents' legacy as two of the greatest heroes in her homeland and trying not to let that get to her too much. She also grew from a baby to a teen in the span of a long weekend thanks to Fates' hilariously awful explanation for how the second-gen works; the Baby Dimension. This is why her parents are at best two to three years older than her. She's also technically a princess, being a member of the royal family and all, but super-far down the line of succession; even Sophie mostly forgets about it most of the time. Don't worry though, she' mostly fine.
Except for the forced Second Seal change she just underwent into Dark Mage even though she'd been speccing for Cavalier. So, early days trying to learn magic after all that studying to be a knight are going to be a disaster, so for all her new schoolmates in Aer et Calculum have that to look forward to. Explosions abound.
