The Bodyswap Planning Post Some Body Once Told Me This month's second event is a bodyswap event, as kindly suggested by our players. In this event, you change bodies with another person or people, and get the delight of experiencing life through their eyes. Discover what it is to be a duck or have ridiculous hair or maybe even not be biological at all -- the sky's the limit, and that's only because above that is space and we're pretty sure no one's power regain in the first event post was spaceflight. Some Body Once Asked How did this happen? Well, Webby and Yugi decided to try out a spell to change forms, because who wouldn't want to be the other of them? As it happens, Yugi may have forgotten he had a certain connection to a certain amorphous blob thing that may have needed a certain amount of magical consideration which may have not been provided. Also that blob thing may have been resistant to magic in a way that may have leeched into the spell, and the Professors may not be able to reverse it as easily as one would like. Let's just say there's so much may here that if it were a flower it'd be landing on Plymouth Rock as we speak. And They Don't Stop Coming The time period this takes place over is purely arbitrary. It lasts as long as you wish to get done everything you want to. We encourage you, in fact, not to care at all about the timeline. If you want to meet someone who was swapped while you're in your original body but also want to be swapped with person X who is swapping with Racer X, do that and don't worry about the details. You may swap with as many people as you want during this event, for any length of time you might want. Three-way swaps are okay. You may swap with almost anyone or anything that has even a hint of a personality, which includes familiars, NPCs, ghosts, talking swords, that one toilet in Makerion Keep that demands you answer riddles before you use it... The only people not really on the table is the ghost dragon, who is unaffected, and the mod team, which doesn't have a personality because memes and questionable jokes don't count. We Could All Use A Little Change And we're also offering random signups, because why not? Just comment to the thread on this post and we'll randomly assign you to someone else who wants in. If you want more than one, just let us know. We'll do our best to accommodate that! Hit The Ground Running We anticipate having the post up either Friday or Saturday, depending on mod availability.
