Jasper really didn't care about killing the Chimera either way, but when it had begun its rampage and impeded his work in this place, he finally decided it couldn't be tolerated. Oh, sure, the people ran past him in a panic, but he didn't care about rescuing them either. He sighs and brushes past them on his way to the airship.
His reputation matters not here in this strange land. He is no longer in Heliodor, and after breaking his oath no longer a respected knight, at that. He looks around the panicked crowd and spots a familiar man; in fact, identifies him from behind by his poor taste in fashion.
He holds his breath for a second. Watches him fight the beast and keeps his distance.
"Much as it would please me to see the beast eat you, dear friend," he sneers from somewhere near, "I'll offer some advice: you really shouldn't fight it where you are."
It has everything to do with the airship and how... poorly it might break apart due to that dragon's fire.
